What we collect

When you send an enquiry, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you give us: your name, phone number, email address, country of residence, the project or area you are interested in, and your message.

When you browse, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (your IP address, the time and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. Requests that announce themselves as automated copying tools are refused. Refused requests, and requests that look unusual but are let through, have their IP address, approximate location and browser details kept in a security log. Visitors are never asked to solve a puzzle or prove they are human.

If you accept cookies, we also collect: your IP address and the approximate location it points to (country, region, city), your browser, device and operating system, your language and time zone, the site or ad that brought you to us, the pages, projects, cities and districts you view, the searches and filters you use (such as bedrooms, size and budget), and the date and time of each visit. This is linked to a random visitor number kept in a cookie, not to your name, unless you later send us an enquiry.

Cookies

Essential cookies and browser storage keep the site working: your cookie choice, your currency and unit, and the projects you add to compare. These are always on.

Analytics cookies are only used if you press Accept on the cookie banner. They let us see which homes, areas and budgets interest our visitors, so we can list the right projects and answer you better. If you choose Essential only, none of the details in the paragraph above are collected beyond the hosting logs.

Every visit is also counted anonymously, whatever you choose: the page, the site or link that sent you, your country and city, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. This count uses no cookie, does not store your IP address and cannot identify you or link your visits across days. It tells us how many people visit and where they come from.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and follow up about the properties you asked about.

If you accepted cookies, to understand what buyers look for, improve the site, choose which projects to list and, when you send an enquiry, to know which homes you already viewed so we can answer you faster. We do not sell your details and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

The legal basis is your consent (given on the cookie banner and when you send an enquiry) and our legitimate interest in replying to you and keeping the site secure. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who sees it

Saddlepoint advisors. A project's developer only when that is needed to take your enquiry forward, for example to book a viewing or a reservation, and only with your agreement.

Service providers that run the site for us: Netlify hosts the site, receives the enquiry form and stores the visitor data described above. If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, that message goes through WhatsApp. These providers process data on our instructions.

If you write from outside Saudi Arabia, your details are handled in Saudi Arabia and on our providers' servers, which may be abroad.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need to handle your enquiry and keep a record of it, then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent, or object to how we use it. Write to relations@saddlepoint.sa and we answer within the time the law sets.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the regulator for personal data in the Kingdom.

Children

The site is for adults looking to buy, rent or sell property. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.

Changes
